What is PayNow?

Receiving and sending money to your family and friends is now quicker and simpler. With just a mobile number or NRIC, PayNow lets you transfer funds across participating banks1 without the hassle of lengthy bank account numbers.

You can also make payments to corporates, such as companies, banks, and government agencies, when you PayNow to the corporate’s Unique Entity Number (UEN). 

1Participating banks include Bank of China, Citibank Singapore Limited, DBS/POSB, HSBC, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and UOB.

How to Register?

To start receiving money, register for PayNow by linking your HSBC Current or Savings Account to your mobile number or NRIC.

  1. Log on to Online Banking
  2. Select your desired proxy account and nickname
  3. Review your details and confirm
